I just listened to one of linkin park's new songs and hugh grant's new movie. They were both a waste of time. Al Gore, Madonna, Live Earth, Micheal Moore, Cindy Sheehan, and so many other public spectacles are too ignorant to use their fame to create real change. They leap on the latest band wagon and gorge themselves on each others flattery. Your are so caring about the environment and stuff, like yeah, live earth was soooo cooool. They don't research, they don't really care. They're empty shells waiting to be filled by our praise. They sit back and do nothing when thousands die in Dar fur. They react boldly when a fellow colleague says fag to another colleague but SAY NOTHING about the millions women being beat by their husbands in many Islamic countries. They remain silent about the women and men beheaded by civilians because they dated the wrong person or touched in public. They disgust me. Not to mention all of the rappers who glorify the subjugation of women and are blindly worshiped by those who rally around the banner of equality. I can't stand the hypocrisy and WILLFUL ignorance anymore.
Christians get ridiculed constantly by these circles. We have the answer. Money won't fix aids and civil unrest that kill hundreds of thousands each year in Africa. We send food but it is horded by evil men to gain power. They starve to death every day because good men do nothing. The people need a heart change that can only come from Christ. No amount of money or tears will fix it. I know let's have another earth day! At least we can make cool songs that make us feel better while others die.
Some of these men won't have a change of heart. They are willing to die to keep their power. I say LET THEM DIE. During the civil unrest in Rwanda peace keeping operations really did a great job, they peacefully sat back and watched hundreds of thousands die!
As for me and my house I am going to try to save some money and make sure it gets to missionaries in Afghanistan. Maybe one day women won't be slaves to the burka. BTW I won't be giving any money to global warming.
